If you’re a mom, you’ve probably heard of Lovevery or seen their adorable ads on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Maybe you’ve even had some friends who spoke of them but weren’t quite sure what they were all about. Today I’m so excited to share my honest Lovevery review and what we thought about their playkit and toys – and most importantly, was it worth it and would we get it again?

What is Lovevery?

I had heard of Lovevery a lot, but wasn’t totally familiar with exactly what they offered until recently. I have several friends who absolutely raved about them, and decided to give them a try! Long story short, Lovevery is a toy subscription service that sends age appropriate Montessori toys at different intervals for your baby or toddler.

For the first 12 months of your babies life, you’ll get a toy kit sent every two months with different age appropriate and developmentally friendly toys to engage your baby with. After a year, the kits transition to every three months for your toddler. Each kit comes with about six different toys.

Lovevery also offers a shop with different playthings to buy to compliment your kits, or simply to buy separately if a kit might not be for you!

What Did We Get?

We received a playkit for Ana, who is currently 17 months old – which meant she got the Pioneer Playkit meant for months 16/17/18. According to the Lovevery website, this kit is meant to focus on:

  • Practice two-handed coordination
  • Process and manage emotions
  • Explore gravity, motion, and changing direction
  • Build finger strength and dexterity

In it we found seven items:

  • A ramp with two cars to race down
  • A wooden puzzle with garden pieces
  • A small book
  • A threadable bead kit in a drawstring bag
  • A wooden peg board (sort of like blocks)
  • A velcro “shrub” with bugs to stick on and pull off
  • A play guide book

We also got the organic cotton play tunnel – you can find this under the “More Playthings” area of the Lovevery website.

Pros/Cons of the PlayKit

Ana absolutely loved all the toys that came in there! She is still asking to play with most all of them daily. Here is an honest list of pros and cons that I found with the play kit:

Pros

  • The toys were perfect for her age. They challenged her, but not to the point of frustration. She was able to figure out with assistance how to play and quickly was able to do it herself.
  • She isn’t getting bored of the toys! One of my biggest complaints with most toys is that she gets SO BORED of them within a week. We’ve had out playkit for a few weeks now and she still is asking to play with certain toys a lot – and they still keep her occupied for more than five minutes.
  • Getting a playkit completely took the guesswork out of trying to figure out what would be a good toy for her. I find a lot I end up getting toys too young or too old and they either get used once and forgotten, or frustrate her and she ends up ignoring it. These were so easy to just pop open and begin using.
  • The toys are all very visually appealing – they aren’t obnoxious looking. I also like that Lovevery is committed to making sustainable toys that have very limited plastics.
  • We also received the cotton play tunnel – and Ana LOVES it. We get the best belly laughs as she goes through it! I definitely recommend it as a standalone purchase for your crawler or toddler.

Cons

  • The cost might be a deterrent to some. The infant playkits are $80 every other month, which might get pricy. However, you do get a good amount of toys for that cost. The toddler playkits run $120 every three months.
  • The toys also come with a LOT of little pieces. This is probably a complaint of mine for literally any baby toy though 😂 It certainly does not only pertain to Lovevery! But be prepared to constantly pickup little pieces and trying not to lose them.

Final Thoughts

So the big question – is Lovevery worth it? As a working mom, I would definitely say yes. It’s a time saver, I think the price is appropriate for the quality and amount that you get, and the toys have been wonderful for Ana! Her favorite is probably there bead thread – she gets very intent on getting the beads set up. I would absolutely recommend if you want to get your child something special!
