Why I LOVE My Paper Planner for Sales Tracking

This year marks the third year in a row I’ll be using my Day Designer planner for organizing my work and sales life. I’ve been hooked on Day Designer ever since one of my girlfriends recommended them.

I’ve always been a planner junkie and just operate better when I physically write down my to-do lists to cross off. I’ve never been great the electronic tracking and calendars – I always seem to stop looking, or simply delete reminders as opposed to actually DOING what the reminder tells me!

There’s quite a few reasons why Day Designer is the best option for me (and, I think, a lot of sales professionals!):

  • The Daily List: This was a must. SO many planners have weekly views. I used them for a very long time, but it got to the point where I HAD to have a full daily page dedicated to my lists. I honestly don’t really use the “time of day” portion and usually use both sides to check off to-do lists or make important notes. Every day is so different on mine: some days I’ll have beautiful written lists, other days it’s a mess of notes and cross-offs!
  • The Top Three: Each day page has a “Today’s Top Three” which is a MUST for me. I’m able to track my current active submittals to follow up on, and other important notes right at the top of the page.
  • Full Size Pages: Having a full size 8.5x11planner was important to me. I used the Simplified Planner back in 2019, and while I did like it, it was just too compact for me. I need SPACE to jot things down!
  • Crisp and Clean: All the pages are white and gray, which is simple and leaves your text popping off the page at you.
  • Aesthetically Pleasing: Okay, this is NOT that important, but Day Designer has a ton of really cute looks to pick from! I feel like it’s one of my biggest choices of the year to pick the next years design 😂

You may have noticed that Day Designer has become an affiliate of JuneDiaries by the ad on the sidebar a few weeks ago – I was so happy to partner with a brand I’ve used for years and TRULY love! Best of all they’ve given me a code to share with anyone looking to purchase their 2022 planner!
