Hello, friends! It has been awhile… I really do apologize for the lack of posts here, but I promise I have good reasons for being distracted and pulled away from posting! I hope everyone had a great end to their 2021. As we kick off 2022, I thought it appropriate to run down what’s been going on in the life of Becky, and what I have going on for this coming year ahead. Let’s go!

We Flipped a House!

So full disclaimer – I didn’t PERSONALLY flip this house. However, Rick and I did purchase a new home and partnered with Branjen, a great local company, to flip an old Utica home into our dream forever home. I am so excited to show you all where we started, the “during” process, and where we end up! As an HGTV enthusiast, it’s really been a dream to help design a house to fit my families needs. Right now the finishing touches are going in on the house, and we should fully close in the middle of January and be ready to move! Currently we are in the throws of listing our CURRENT home, so it’s been a busy few months to balance both.

We’re Pregnant…with Twins!

Now THIS one was the big surprise! Not long after we began moving forward with housing plans, Rick and I found out we were pregnant! Ana had just had her first birthday when we found out, and we were surprised but so happy to grow our family. And then…three weeks later…we got the BIG surprise when we found out there were TWINS. Twins do not run in my family, so I was completely shocked. We are having fraternal boys, and they are set to come in May.

This is actually the biggest reason I’ve been MIA from June Diaries the last few months. The first trimester was an absolute beast for me, and I was EXTREMELY sick. Absolutely down for the count for those three months. Luckily, this has subsided to an extent and has allowed me to feel (kind of) like myself again.

The Holiday Season

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday season, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Ana was visited by Santa, and was spoiled by both sides of her family fully. I wasn’t able to do everything I normally enjoy during the holidays (cookie baking, sending cards, fully decorating the house) due to both pregnancy and getting our home ready to list, but it was still such a special time for the family.

I Closed my Biggest Year Ever

Tying into sales life, I had my best year ever in sales and couldn’t be prouder of everything I accomplished on the job. Even though my Q4 was not as big as I’d hoped (being basically sick 24/7 during October and part of November doesn’t make for a great sales vibe, I’ve found out 🙂 ) I still rounded out my year fully, and no matter what happens with “end of the year numbers”, I could not be prouder of everything I accomplished this year.

I came back from maternity leave January 2nd, and jumped right into the thick of healthcare recruiting during a hot COVID time. I had been out of the pipelining game for almost 4 months, was working from home and breastfeeding a newborn, and jumped right into growing my desk…and was able to hit and exceed ALL of my goals even with all these new distractions. I couldn’t be prouder!

What’s in Store for 2022?

So, what’s up for 2022? Here are a few of my personal goals and what I’m hoping to accomplish.

• Have a healthy, term pregnancy with twins and TRY to enjoy it as much as I can (This will be tough. I HATE being pregnant!)
• Move and get settled into the new house, and sell our current home for a decent profit
• Continue to blog more and focus on growing my affiliate accounts from the blog and side hustles
• Kick ass in sales and be proud of what I accomplish during pregnancy and postpartum
• Take a full maternity leave and be fully present with my new babes
• Take in all the moments with my family, and always remember what is truly important
